DTE Energy’s Home Energy Consultation program and REIA of Livingston County team up to save you  energy and take control of your energy costs – at no cost to you.   We are  all looking for ways to make life more affordable, we can achieve this by reducing the amount of energy we use, which can lower our utility bills. Simple changes in your home will save you money.   DTE and their energy consultants will visit your home to provide an energy assessment that will evaluate the energy efficiency of your home.  They will make energy savings recommendations and discuss ways that you can lower your energy costs even more. While our consultants are in your home, they’ll install the following products:

• ENERGY STAR® compact fluorescent light bulbs (DTE Energy – Electric customers)
• Water-saving faucet aerators for kitchen and bath (DTE Energy – Gas customers)
• Water-saving showerheads (DTE Energy – Gas customers)
• Water heater pipe wrap (DTE Energy – Gas customers)
