Stout Irish Pub's 10 Year Anniversary St. Patrick's Day Party!

Downtown Brighton’s own Stout Irish Pub prepares to celebrate its 10 year anniversary on March 17, St. Patrick’s Day. Stout is planning one heck of a party in honor of the big day, lasting all weekend, March 15-17.

“We are excited to celebrate our 10 years here,” said Dave Norman, new owner of the bar and general manager since 2007.  “It’s a great milestone, and I hope the first of many more to come. We have a lot of great things planned for this year, and I am really looking forward to it.”

The weekend will give way to live music, DJ and dancing, green beer, giveaways, an appearance from the Guinness girls, and even some girls on swings throwing t-shirts, hats and beads out to the crowd.

“We are planning to get a big cake and a few other things to help us celebrate Stout’s birthday,” Norman said.  “We want to make this year a little more special.”

On St. Patrick’s Day, Stout will be open at 7:00 a.m. serving breakfast, and the patio and outside bar will be open at 11:00 a.m. Festivities include Irish dancers, bagpipers, live music from 8:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., and a DJ and dancing from 10 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. There will be no cover all weekend, including St. Patrick’s Day.
