Hovercraft races are run on a land/water track which typically includes a mix of tight turns and fast straight sections. This is an action packed sport for participants and spectators of all ages. The Hoverclub of America has a long history of safe racing events and a strong commitment to maintaining this record. Club sponsored events are conducted in a manner appropriate for family and/or youth group participation.
Come join the Hoverclub of America at Brighton State Recreation Area, in a thrilling day of sanctioned racing as hovercraft compete in 7 different classes to see who will become the National Hovercraft Champions in 2013. We will have sanction racing heats from noon-5 pm on Saturday, and Endurance racing on Sunday from noon-2 pm.
Admission is free other than the $11 State Park Recreation Pass fee if you don't already have it on your vehicle license tab.
