Local Humane Society Hosts Holiday Open House and Pet Photos with Santa

The Livingston County Humane Society is kicking off the holiday season with two Open House events on Saturday, November 30 and Saturday, December 7 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Don't miss this opportunity to bring in your cat or dog for photos with Santa Paws for a $10 donation. 

Professional photographer Rachel Rice of Pampered Pet Photographie is donating her time to take the photos, so you can have a great picture to include in your holiday cards or use as you like. The image will be edited and emailed to you after the event.

Even if you don't bring your pet, come join us for some holiday cheer and light refreshments. Take a tour of our shelter and say hello to all the wonderful cats and dogs! And, if you happen to fall in love with one or two, we're open for adoptions from noon to 5 p.m. both days. 

Please help spread the word and let's get as many pets as possible home for the holidays.

If you can't adopt or attend the event, here are a few other ways you can help our homeless pets:

• Select an item off our "Holiday Giving Tree" at the shelter to purchase and donate
• Purchase pre-selected items from our Amazon Wish Listand order conveniently on line
• Select a few items we need most from our Wish List and drop them off at our shelter
• Sponsor a cat or dog cage at our shelter
• Purchase a custom engraved tile for our cage-free cat rooms
• Talk to us about other ways you can help
