The local Sierra Club Crossroads Group invites the public to a free wildlife program for all ages. Presenters from the Howell Conference and Nature Center will bring live hawks, owls, falcons, and vultures from the Wild Wonders Wildlife Park where they reside. (These are rescued birds unable to survive on their own in the wild.) Presenters will talk about different types of birds of prey, their characteristics, and their importance to the environment. This family-friendly program offers an up-close experience and a fun learning opportunity for children. For more information, contact Mary Novrocki at 734-775-8139 or see the Crossroads Group website: www.sierraclub.org/michigan/crossroads
