In this workshop, parents will learn the in’s and out’s of appropriately using time out. We will dispel common myths about timeout and answer such questions as “where should timeout occur?” “when should and shouldn't my child be sent to timeout?” “what should I say before, during, and after timeout to make it most effective?” and “how long should time out last?” We will also review how to handle common time out difficulties.
