MDOT Closing The US-23 and Lee Road Bridge Leading Into Green Oak Village Place for Maintenance Updates
Alternative routes in place around scheduled bridge updates September 12 through October 2

Brighton-based Green Oak Village Place, a premier retail and lifestyle destination, will be rerouting shoppers to the easiest accessible course into the center due to bridge repairs from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). Temporary maintenance will require the closure of the US-23 and Lee Road bridge from September 12 through October 2, 2016. Sean Valentino, director of retail operations at REDICO, the property manager at Green Oak Village Place, made the announcement.
During the closure, Green Oak Village Place will operate at its normal business hours of Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“Safety is our top priority for people coming to visit Green Oak,” said Valentino. “In order for shoppers to continue visiting the center, updates to the bridge are required to comply with safety codes. We are working to make this a smooth process by promoting the most convenient alternative routes into the center, and are grateful for the work MDOT has done to ensure this closure takes the minimal amount of time needed.”
