Nawrocki Center Attorney Attends Elder Law Conference
Important Information for Elder Law and Disability RIghts

BRIGHTON, MICHIGAN – Nawrocki Center attorney Lisa Beatty, of the Nawrocki Center for Elder Law, Special Needs & Disability Planning, attended the State Bar of Michigan’s, Elder Law and Disability Rights Section Fall Conference. This conference was held October 5 through October 7, 2016.
During this Elder Law and Disability Rights conference, Ms. Beatty learned about the latest changes and developments that affect the Nawrocki Center’s clients. New information included legislative and public policy updates; updates to Medicaid and Veterans’ benefits planning; protecting resident’s rights in involuntary discharges from nursing facilities; and new Michigan legislation regarding the Americans with Disability Act and their service animals.
All new information gained from this conference is used by the Nawrocki Center to provide up-to-the-minute guidance to their clients regarding Elder Law, estate planning, long-term care planning, and special needs planning issues.
