Medical Marijuana, Wooden Spoon and More

The Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. Monday. On the agenda is authorization to purchase in-car camera systems, and approval of a contract with Volunteer Energy, a provider of natural gas.
The Planning Commission will meet on Monday in council chambers to continue talks on medical marijuana, including the definition of marijuana cooperatives and dispensaries. A public hearing and possible action on the matter will take place at the meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m.
The City of Brighton Downtown Development Authority will meet at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday. The DDA will hear an update on Wooden Spoon's closing status on the former Mexican Jones location. The DDA also will consider an offer by Wooden Spoon, a new artisan market and restaurant, for a DDA Escrow liquor license.
The Brighton District Library Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
