AT&T Brings Faster Network to Brighton

The 4G LTE expansion will give customers better access to mobile Internet.

AT&T has upgraded five cell towers to its 4G LTE network in Genesee, Shiawassee and Livingston counties to give customers faster, more reliable wireless service.

Improvements were made in Brighton (east of U.S. -23, near Commerce Road and S. Pleasant Valley). And in Owosso in Shiawassee County (north of M-21 and east of M-52).The upgraded towers also are located in Genesee County in Flushing (near S. Seymour Street and E. Main Street) and in Grand Blanc (near Saginaw and Center roads).

The changes will help customers get the most out of their mobile devices. With 4G LTE service, they’ll see better service when watching videos, posting to social media or texting family and friends.

“We want our customers to have a great experience. They’ll be able to download, upload, stream and play games faster than ever before on our 4G LTE network,” said Jim Murray, president, AT&T Michigan. “We’re always working to provide better coverage. And we’re investing in our wireless network to accomplish that.”

We constantly invest in our network to give customers the high-quality services they need to stay connected. This helps Michigan residents get the best possible experience over the AT&T network, whether at home, at work or on the go.
