Hi, I’m Dr. Robert Moore at Awesome Chiropractic. I’m going to talk to you today about leg length differential before and after an adjustment. I’m going to show you what it looks like and what we see.

We are going to look here on her feet on her shoe, this line right here and you can see that they do not line up. Turn your head to the right please and we see that we have a change there – it’s lined up almost perfectly. Turn your head to the left please and we that it is back to short – it’s shorter.
So when she turns her head to the right, it changes her distortion. It means her upper neck is involved. We are going to make our adjustment and come back and hopefully these legs are nice and balanced.

I also want to show you what an adjustment looks like. We have Alex here in position for the adjustment, she has her own specific measurement that we’ve learned from x-rays. This is the angle for the adjustment, it is very simple, I lightly put my hands on the atlas transverse, and make the adjustment. You can see that the skin does not really change color. With very light pressure and proper leverage, and how we place her head on the table, with the head in a specific angle and torque that we learn from her x-ray analysis.
Now we’ve made the adjustment and we are going to look and see – we want to look here on the shoes to see how lined up she is ("just relax for me Alex") and we can see we have perfect balance.
Turn your head to the right please and now left and you can see it doesn’t even move. That’s what we want. We want our life to be balanced. We would like our legs to be equal length, equal distance apart, we do not want a leg to come up short.
We want to walk around nice and level. We want it to stay that way throughout our day, which means our nervous system is balanced.
I’m Dr. Robert Moore at Awesome Chiropractic and we want to help you balance out your legs. If someone told you that you had a short leg, you may or may not. Most likely you do not. If you broke your leg, you probably do, but even in that case it’s not going to be that short.
