Upcoming Lane Closures on I-96
Single lane and daytime closures will take place in Livingston County starting Sunday at 7 a.m.
LANE CLOSURE ALERT:
I-96 (Livingston County)
- OnΒ Sunday, September 8, there will be a single lane closure on eastbound I-96, approximately 2 miles west of M-59, so crews can install pavement sensors. The right lane will be closed betweenΒ 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday.

- OnΒ Monday, September 9, there will be daytime lane closures on I-96 between Nicholson Road and Fowlerville Road. The closures are needed to set up traffic control devices as part of a larger project at the Red Cedar river where it flows under I-96.
The following is the schedule for lane closuresΒ on Monday:
- Eastbound I-96 one lane closed betweenΒ 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Westbound I-96 one lane closed betweenΒ 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
