Senior-living community, Woodland Village, will host a fish fry on March 23, 2018, to benefit Livingston County Senior Nutrition Program - Meals on Wheels. By collaborating with Meals on Wheels, Woodland Village strives to positively impact the lives and nutritional needs of seniors in the local community.
All proceeds will support the mission of Meals on Wheels, to assist seniors who are unable to prepare their own meals by providing a hot dish, a friendly visitor, and someone to check in on them every weekday. The Southeast Michigan chapters oversee seniors living in Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St Clair, and Washtenaw counties. “This event is truly one that keeps on giving,” said Lisa Lorius, Administrator at Woodland Village. “People show up to enjoy a dinner in the company of others, which in turn, provides a nutritious meal to those in need.”
