YEAR AND A HALF LONG PROJECT RELEASED AT HUGE ONE FUND EVENT
On Sunday, June 23rd, Empty Room Poets (ERP) realized the culmination of a year and a half long project at The Open Theatre Project's "Acting Out Against Violence" event in Brighton, MA. All proceeds of ticket sales for the event went to the One Fund to assist those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings.

At the event, ERP not only unveiled their compilation poetry book and spoken-word CD (completely created/produced by the group) but they also performed a brand new poem composed specifically for the event entitled: "Breaking the Cycle". The poem and the group were received with thunderous applause for both their new release and the performance of a piece that spoke out against the vicious cycle of violence.
