• Official notice: LCMS districts (Oct. 2026) (lcms.org) — St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Brooklyn has ended its multi-congregation parish arrangement with Cross and Resurrection Lutheran Church in Ypsilanti, while that Ypsilanti church has joined with Faith Lutheran to form a new parish. Local LCMS members may notice changes in how Brooklyn's congregation is administratively connected, though regular worship and community life at St. Mark's can continue under its own structure.
