• St. Louis Center to Host Annual Trunk or Treat on October 21 (thesuntimesnews.com) — Families in and around Chelsea are invited to St. Louis Center's free Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, Oct. 21, starting at 5 p.m. at 16195 W. Old US Hwy. 12. Expect decorated trunks, games, dinner, live music, a haunted house, and inclusive Halloween fun with residents, plus chances to volunteer, sponsor, or donate candy to support the celebration.
• Chelsea House Orchestra Celebrates 30 Years with Hometown Show Nov. 7 (thesuntimesnews.com) — Chelsea House Orchestra is bringing its high-energy Celtic show back to Chelsea High School on Saturday, Nov. 7, with help from Beach Middle School's Fiddle Club and the North Creek Fiddlers. You can enjoy traditional and modern folk tunes while supporting student travel, equipment, and educational opportunities, with tickets available online or at the door starting at 6:30 p.m.
• Chelsea Council Agrees to Fund Social Worker Position (thesuntimesnews.com) — Chelsea City Council has committed city funding to keep its social worker position going, ensuring continued help for residents facing housing, mental health, and financial challenges. The role, created in 2024 and shared with local partners, is now capped at $120,000 in city support while officials work to renew outside funding and keep services stable.
