• Chelsea Area Fire Authority Appoints Adam Ferrell to Board (thesuntimesnews.com) — Chelsea-area residents now have a new voice on the Chelsea Area Fire Authority board, with Sylvan Township resident and veteran firefighter-paramedic Adam Ferrell appointed to an at-large seat. With more than 20 years in fire and EMS, Ferrell is expected to bring hands-on expertise and a strong understanding of the local communities CAFA serves.
   

• No terms of endearment from Jeff Daniels' bar next door in Chelsea (detroitnews.com) — Downtown Chelsea's Cleary's Pub alleges its historic building was damaged by construction of JD's Stage Bistro, a new underground restaurant linked to actor Jeff Daniels, and has taken the developer and contractors to court. The lawsuit also questions oversight by the Chelsea Area Construction Agency, while mediation has been ordered and both businesses continue grappling with structural and operational fallout.
