Baker College is now enrolling students for 2016 winter quarter: on-ground classes begin Jan. 11; online courses begin Jan. 7.

Baker College of Jackson is enrolling students for 2016 winter quarter, with on-ground classes beginning Monday, Jan. 11. Online courses start Thursday, Jan. 7. Registration continues through the first week of classes.
“As Michigan’s career college, Baker College focuses on preparing students from start to finish to succeed in the career of their choice,” said Steve Simpson, Ed.D., president of Baker College of Jackson. “Our trained academic advisors can provide job-specific information that will help students select the career that’s right for them. Then, faculty and staff mentor and support students through the educational process. The happy result is the college’s 97 percent employment rate of available graduates.”
Bachelor’s, associate and certificate career programs offered at the Jackson campus include mechanical engineering, practical nurse, paralegal, P-12 special education, cyber security, Linux/Unix systems technology, information systems, information technology, criminal justice, corrections officer, early childhood education, human services, medical assistant, marketing, management, accounting, teacher preparation, radiation therapy, veterinary technology, health information technology, surgical technology, computer numerical control (CNC) machinist, advanced manufacturing technology, mechanical technology and several in computer information systems.

Financial assistance is available to students, including scholarships, grants, low-interest loans and work-study programs.
