Baker College now enrolling for fall 2013 quarter; classes start Sept. 30

Baker College of Jackson is enrolling students for the fall 2013 quarter, with classes beginning Monday, Sept. 30. Registration continues through the first week of classes.

“Baker College provides educational opportunities throughout students' entire careers, not just for their first jobs,” said Patricia A. Kaufman, Ed.D., Baker College of Jackson president. “If you are considering a career change, want to move forward in your present position or complete your degree, Baker College has more than 150 high-demand programs designed to meet the needs of today’s employers,”

New programs offered this fall are a practical nurse certificate program and a mechanical engineering program with associate and bachelor’s-degree options.

Some of the career programs offered at Baker College of Jackson include paralegal, paraprofessional K12 special education, cyber security, Linux/Unix systems technology, information systems, criminal justice, 9-1-1 telecommunications, corrections, early childhood education, human services, medical assistant, marketing, management, accounting, teacher preparation, radiation therapy, veterinary technology, health information technology, surgical technology and numerous computer-related programs.

Financial assistance is available to students, including scholarships, grants, low-interest loans and work-study programs.
