Dear Chelsea Friends,
I have some personal news to share. We found out last week my husband, Ben, has cancer.
Rehearsals have already been underway for Guys & Dolls. It's going fabulously well!
When I'm not at Chelsea High School creating art onstage, I'm at home taking care of my family. Ben and I have two young children, Logan and Paige, who mean the world to us.
This diagnosis of cancer feels surreal. My mind is racing, my heart is racing, my days are racing.
Working and playing at CHS with this exceptional cast and crew makes my days amazing. It lifts me up to be at rehearsal, to focus on the show and the students for a few short hours. I come home energized and refreshed to greet and care for my family.
Many have asked, "How can I help?" We set up a website to help spread the word, and for people to contribute if they wish to do so.

There is a lovely article in today's Dexter Patch that has more details.

In the meantime, please know the musical is running along smoothly. I have a dedicated musical family who are talented, loving, and committed to putting together the best show you've ever seen at CHS!
Thank you to all of you for your continued support! The next news is details on when tickets are available! Stay tuned!
Show dates: November 15-17 at CHS!
with love and gratitude,
