Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan sponsors Girl Developers' Summit

Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan invites community to learn how to better help girls with issues unique to them.

Raising girls to be happy, healthy, successful woman can be
overwhelming at times and that’s why Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan is offering
a communitywide conversation about this very topic at its 8th Girl
Developers’ Summit from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on February 23 at Eastern
Michigan University’s Student Center.

The daylong gathering features experts who will speak on
issues impacting girls such as bullying, health and nutrition, and eating
disorders.  This Summit is a one-stop
resource center which will leave its participants better-equipped to help girls
become stronger and help girls navigate issues of importance to them.

The cost of the Summit is $50 for each member of the general
public; $40 for registered Girl Scout adults; $25 for college students; and $15
for girls.  For more information or to
register visit the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan website at gshom.org.
