Chelsea Bulldogs Open Season With 34-27 Loss to Jackson Lumen Christi
The Chelsea High School football team gave up 12 penalties in their season opener on Friday.

It was a night of heartbreak for the Chelsea Bulldogs, who recorded a 34-27 loss to Jackson Lumen Christi on Friday for both teams' season opener.
According to the Chelsea Update, the team gave up 362 rushing yards and racked up a dozen penalties during Friday's game.
Chelsea scored first on a 43-yard Zack Rabbitt field goal, but the visiting Titans came back swinging, and kept the Bulldogs on the defense for the rest of the game.

"I thought Lumen Christi was more disciplined; I thought they outplayed us,” Chelsea coach Brad Bush told the Update.
