ET Rover Pipeline, A Valuable Asset to Agriculture

Safeguarding the interests of agriculture and forestry is an important consideration prior to the approval of any infrastructure project. Proposed pipeline infrastructure projects, such as Rover, must work in tandem with the farming community. Agriculture and forestry are energy intensive industries, and Rover would deliver valuable natural gas resources to these sectors and to the rest of our energy dependent state. Moreover, Rover’s commitment to work through Land Stewards to mitigate impact on sensitive and agricultural lands speaks to the project’s partnership-driven approach to working with landowners and local businesses. Rover’s approval would benefit many parts of Michigan’s economy. Agriculture is no exception.
