Grass Lake Woman Arrested on Burglary Charges, DUI
The following information was supplied by the Chelsea Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

A 32-year-old Grass Lake woman was arrested and faces charges of driving under the influence of narcotics near the 1100 block of S. Main Street in Chelsea on Sept. 9.
According to police reports, while on routine patrol, officers with the Chelsea Police Department stopped the woman at approximately 5:50 a.m. for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation it was determined that the woman was under the influence of narcotics. Officers also discovered multiple stolen items from a nearby business in the woman's car. The case remains open pending laboratory analysis from the Michigan State Police Crime Lab.

On Sept. 6, officers with the Chelsea Police Department were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Main Street in response to an argument complaint and 911 hang-up. Upon arrival officers located the parties involved and determined that no physical violence had occurred. Two individuals were separated for the night in an attempt to resolve the manner.

Officers with the Chelsea Police Department were dispatched to the 1600 block of S. Main Street at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 6 in response to a intoxicated driver complaint. Upon arrival officers made contact with a 63-year-old Detroit man, who was placed under arrest and transported to the Washtenaw County Jail. The case is open and under investigation.
Larceny
On Sept. 1, officers with the Chelsea Police Department were dispatched to the 200 block of Park Street in response to a stolen bicycle complaint. Upon arrival, the owner of a green mountain bike informed officers that the bike, along with a red and black BMX bicycle, was taken from the property sometime around 6 p.m. The case is closed pending further investigative leads.
