Identity Theft Suspect Arrested on Chelsea Warrant
Suspect was arrested in Redford Township and transported to Washtenaw County Jail.

In unrelated cases, Chelsea police recently arrested two people on outstanding felony warrants, according to a news release.
On Dec. 3, police were notified by Redford Township police that they had arrested a 36-year-old Saint Clair Shores woman on a Chelsea Police Department felony warrant for identity theft. She was transported to the Washtenaw County Jail, where she was held pending arraignment on the charge.
Police responded to a report of a suspicious person while on routine patrol about 2 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of North Main Street. The 39-year-old Chelsea man told police that he was just out for a walk, but a routine name check revealed that he was wanted out of the Michigan State Police Brighton Post on felony charges of filing a false police report and failing to report an accident, according to the release.
