Vandals Damage Cars with Bricks in Chelsea Subdivision
The following information was supplied by the Chelsea Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Property Damage
On Aug. 29, Chelsea Police officers observed a large amount of bricks littered in the roadway near the 600 block of Parkside Court, while on routine patrol in the Fairways Subdivision around 3 a.m., according to reports. Upon further investigation, officers determined that two vehicles had been damaged as the result of the bricks being thrown. No suspect information is available. The case is closed pending further investigative leads.
Larceny

While on routine patrol officers responded to the 600 block of Grant Street for the report of a larceny of a bicycle. According to police records, the victim stated that the bicycle went missing from the carport area of her residence sometime between 2-5 p.m. on Aug. 27. The bicycle is a girl's model, size 16 feet, aqua green in color. The case is closed pending further investigative leads.
Trespassing

Chelsea Police officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Washington Street at 12:20 p.m. Aug. 27 in response to a possible trespassing complaint.
According to police records, 911 dispatch received a call from a neighbor who stated that they were advised by the homeowner to call the police if a particular type of vehicle came to the residence. The caller was advised by the homeowner, who is the owner of a business, that he had fired an employee and he feared the employee may come to his residence in retaliation for being fired.
Upon arrival, officers confronted a 35-year-old Ann Arbor man, after making contact with the homeowner and confirming that the man had no legal right to be in the residence. The homeowner declined to press criminal charges and the man was released from custody.
