Police saw man holding woman at gunpoint at Rochester mobile home. The standoff ended about 9 a.m. Saturday.

An overnight standoff with police was resolved without injury to either the 10-month-old baby or a woman police said was held at gunpoint by the 34-year-old man who surrendered to police Saturday.

The standoff occurred in the Rochester Estates mobile home park in the area of Avon Road and John R. Road. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office was called about 1 a.m. Saturday after neighbors reported hearing a couple yelling inside, MLive reports.

Police saw the suspect knock the woman to the floor and hold a semi-automatic rifle on her. He barricaded the door with a couch, and had the weapon trained on police.
