• Man to serve 6 years for Metro Detroit auto-theft, business-burglary ring (theoaklandpress.com) — A man tied to a Metro Detroit auto-theft and business-burglary ring has been sentenced to six to 20 years in prison, with crimes reaching into Clawson and numerous nearby cities. The group stole vehicles from dealerships and used them in late-night break-ins at gas stations and eateries, and all three co-defendants have now been sentenced and ordered to pay restitution.
