(CLAWSON – SEPTEMBER 14, 2026) Xander Frink, 18, formerly of Clawson, currently of Rochester Hills, MI, recently earned Scouting America's highest advancement award, the Eagle Scout Award with silver palm. Frink will be recognized in a ceremony later this fall.
A member of Clawson's Troop 1615, chartered with The Church @ Clawson, Frink is one of only approximately 6 percent of all Scouts who earn the Eagle rank, according to Scoutmaster Jeff Toenniges. Each candidate must earn a minimum of 21 merit badges, serve in troop leadership positions, and successfully complete a community-related service project to earn Eagle; Frink has earned 31 merit badges, and planned, built and installed benches with backs at the Clarkston Family Farm.
Frink is a recent graduate of Clawson High School, and is pursuing a bachelors degree in architectural engineering from the University of Detroit-Mercy. He is the son of Michael and Amy Frink of Rochester Hills.
Frink is Troop 1615's 67th Scout to earn Eagle Scout.
