Two Clawson residents will vie for the 16th district Oakland County Commissioner seat in the Aug. 7 primary election.
County Commissioner Mike Bosnic (R-Clawson) and Tim Burns (D-Clawson), who faced off in 2010, both filed for candidacy before the May 15 deadline.
In the November 2010 election, , who was a two-term county commissioner in the 19th district. Bosnic won 54.5 percent of the overall 17,449 votes in Clawson and Troy in 2010.
The third candidate for the 16th district is Martin Howrylak of Troy. The commissioner seats are two-year terms.
