At this annual October event, 30 local authors share and sell their books to promote a Michigan literacy non-profit organization. In 2014, the event will benefit the Oakland Literacy Council which has provided over 527,000 hours of tutoring to over 12,000 adult learners in Oakland County since it began in 1984. Ten percent of proceeds from the day’s event will benefit the OLC, as well as 100% of tips.
