Blair Memorial Library in Clawson

Clawson Library

Did you know that the Clawson library provides author visits, musical entertainment, summer reading clubs and community events?  Story hours, craft programs and hands on demonstrations for children?  We offer research databases, best selling novels, DVD's, magazines and internet access.  For many residents, libraries are their only source for computer and internet access.  Our library employees make our library experience worthwhile.   For our  young people - Come to the library to read to Grace & Riley, certified therapy dogs.  Sign up for a 10 minute time slot for Tuesday May 14th from 4-5.30 pm.  Or join us to learn about reptiles and amphibians on Saturday April 20 from 10.30 - 11.15 am.  This is part of our National Library Week celebration. On May 18, 10.30 -11.30 experience amazing tricks performed by magician Ming the Magnificent! Sign-up begins May 4 at the library or by phone.  Friends of the Library sponsors monthly programs  for all on the first Monday of the month at 7 pm.  Prior to the program, 6.15 pm, is a Friends of the Library meeting - join us to support your local library.  Upcoming programs "Shopping the world", "If these walls could talk" and "Hypnosis for health and well being".
