Clawson can now boast of an Art Committee entitled the Clawson Cultural Foundation. Meetings are on the second Monday of each month at 7.30 pm at Hunter Community Center and we are looking for you to join us. The committee serves to enhance, encourage and promote public awareness, participation and appreciation of the arts in our community; identify opportunites for residents to participate in a variety of artistic activities; and encourage public and private resources for the support of the arts. The Art Committee sponsored the Art & Author Festival in the fall, the Boogie Woogie Concert in early winter and now will host a Dinner Theater Mystery April 20th, 7 pm, at the American Legion Hall 655 S. Main in Clawson. Purchase tickets now at Hunter Community Center for $20.00. At the Dinner Theater Mystery you will enjoy a night of food and fun that quickly turns into a night of mystery and mayhem and you are left to solve the crime.
