Clawson Early Childhood Center Announces
Openings in Free 4-Year-Old Great Start Readiness Program

CLAWSON, MI. - Clawson Public Schools Early Childhood Center announced the possible opening of a fifth free Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) class. This program is designed to get four-year-olds ready to attend kindergarten. The child must turn four years of age by November 1, 2013.

The program will run 30-34 weeks. Classes are held four afternoons per week from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
This is a fully licensed, state-funded program for qualifying families who live in Oakland County and meet eligibility requirements such as low income, a diagnosed disability, identified developmental delay, a primary home language other than English and/or many other qualifying factors. For qualifying families, there is no cost to participate.
Clawson Schools also has openings in its tuition preschool programs:
- Parent/Tot, which meets two hours two days a week
- 3-year-old co-op preschool, two hours two days a week
- 4-year-old co-op preschool, three hours either two or four days a week
