So, we just completed our annual dryer vent cleaning at the homestead and as expected found a significant amount of lint in the fan housing and duct work. We clean the lint screen after each load but lint by-pass is inevitable. Lint filled dryer ducts are also a fire hazard. There are several companies out there that provide this service. A simple search will find many local companies. For the DIY folks, kits are available for purchase also.
Our dryer was taking significantly longer to dry each load. If you haven't had it done, Its overdue.
