But the one that has a metro Detroit suburb buzzing has nothing to do with the lunar calendar.

It’s a little – OK, a lot – more base than that.

The Oakland Press and WDIV, Channel 4 are reporting that a 45-year-old carnival worker wearing a hot pink skirt and purple thong underwear was arrested and charged with indecent exposure after he “mooned” motorists in the vicinity of West Big Beaver and Livernois roads.

He reportedly told police that he was trying to flag down a ride.

The man, whose name is not immediately known, reportedly pleaded not guilty to the indecent exposure charge and posted a $250 bond.
