Miserable, Bitterly Cold Temps Prompt Clawson Officials to Cancel School Tuesday
The Arctic blast that is sending wind chill temperatures to 35 degrees below zero means another day off from school for Clawson students.

Clawson Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 28, due to bitterly cold wind chill temperatures forecast for southeast Michigan.
The notice was posted on the school’s web site. The Arctic cold temperatures are expected to persist through Wednesday morning. There’s no word yet on whether school will be in session Wednesday.
Oakland County issued a statement Monday reminding residents to dress in layers if they must be outdoors, not to keep their pets outdoors for any extended periods of time, maintain vehicle gas tanks over half filled, keep emergency kits and blankets in vehicles, and ensure that cell phones are fully charged when traveling.Find out what's happening in Clawsonfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
