The Clawson School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Samantha Evasic at its meeting on July 8.
Evasic will work full time as a special education teacher at Clawson High, according to the district.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Western Michigan University and did a portion of her student teaching in Heidelberg, Germany.
