The owner of a rental property in Pontiac made a gruesome discovery when he attempted to evict his tenant about 3 p.m.Monday.The 55-year-old man's body was found in the back of a closet at the property in the 300 block of Prospect, according to an Oakland County Sheriff's Office report. The man had been dead for some time, and neighbors told deputies and detectives who responded to the property owner's 911 call that they hadn't seen him for about two weeks.<ul><li><a href="https://patch.com/michigan/farmington-mi/mystery-mummified-michigan-2014-review" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Also on Patch: 'Mummified in Michigan'</a></li></ul>The Oakland County Sheriff's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
