Vote Now: Clawson Athlete of Fall Season

Vote from a list of very deserving candidates on who should be named the Patch Athlete of the Season for Clawson.

There were a lot of great individual performances from high school athletes in the Clawson area this fall and we want to hear from our readers which one they thought was the best.

Here are the candidates:

Alli Costine (senior, volleyball)— The senior was the top offensive and defensive player for the Trojans in her third year on varsity. Costine also signed a scholarship to play volleyball

Tyler Jugon (junior, soccer)— Jugon helped lead the Trojans to an undefeated regular season, a Macomb Area Conference Gold division title and a run to the district finals. The junior was second in the team in goals and first in assists.

DeShawn Gilbert (senior, football)— The senior was Clawson’s leading rusher this season and a key player on defense. He had a breakout week against and three touchdowns in a 54-7 win.

Ryan Bailey (senior, cross country)— Bailey was the lone runner from Clawson to He ran a 19:38.02 at the Michigan International Speedway in the Division 3 final.

Will Pasquin (senior, soccer)— Pasquin was the team's leading goal scorer this year with 21 goals. He scored 77 goals in his four years on the varsity team. He also scored the two goals last year to tie the District game against Bishop Foley. The team went on to beat Bishop Foley in a shootout.
