What Are You Telling Your Kids About Ray Rice?

What are you saying to your kids about the ubiquitous stories swirling around about Baltimore Ravens football player Ray Rice and his wife, Janay Palmer?

Detroit Free Press staff writer Kristen Jordan Shamus wrote an open letter to her young son about Rice and how love should be expressed. She wrote:

This week has been one of long reflection about what makes little boys like you grow up to be men who beat their girlfriends, their wives, their children Men like Ray Rice, the running back for the Baltimore Ravens who punched his fiancée in the face in an elevator in Atlantic City, knocking her out.
