"I want to see if I can become student manager for Michigan State basketball next year," Linsenmeyer said. "I just want to be around the next level of basketball and hopefully the professional level someday. That's my dream. I love basketball. I'm very dedicated to both sports and I'm very well coached in both of them. I'll do anything for coach (Bill Shellenbarger). He's a great coach and I'm glad I devote all of my time, it's made me a better person overall and I'm very thankful for that."
Boys basketball coach Bill Shellenbarger noted the impact Linsenmeyer is off the court. "He walks the halls and does the right thing every day and he hits the books hard. He's never late and he's always there to help us with our program," Shellenbarger said. "He's always the one carrying the water bottles on the bus. He's the one that you don't need to ask him to do it, he just knows and does it. He's one of those great kids."
