Pedestrian Dead In Clinton Township Crash: Police
Clinton Township Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A man was killed Wednesday after he was hit by a car in Clinton Township, according to police.
The 78-year-old man of Roseville was walking across Groesbeck Highway and 15 Mile Road against the traffic light at 7 a.m. when they were hit by a Lincoln Corsair, according to police.
The man, whose name was not released, was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, according to police.

Witnesses performed life-saving efforts before first responders arrived at the scene, according to police.
The driver of the Lincoln, a 51-year-old man from Mount Clemens, was not injured in the crash and stopped immediately after the crash, according to police.

Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
