CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A pedestrian was hit and killed while crossing a major road in Macomb County on Wednesday morning, according to reports citing police.
The crash happened on Gratiot Avenue near M-59 early Wednesday morning, WWJ News reports.
The driver involved in the crash stopped at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, according to the report.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of Gratiot Avenue in the area were closed as police continue investigating the crash.
