CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Baker College of Clinton Township was honored as the featured business at the Clinton Township State of the Township in front of about 200 people, Friday, Jan. 24, at the Clinton-Macomb Public Library.
“This is the second time that we have featured a business at our annual State of the Township event,” said Robert Cannon, Clinton Township supervisor. “It’s our way of recognizing Baker College’s positive economic impact on the township, not only through the dollars spent on maintaining its campus in excellent condition, but in the salaries of its faculty and other employees. The outstanding education provided to its students allows them to succeed in their chosen careers, contributing even more to our community.”
Cannon continued, “This recognition is as much for Don Torline, president, as it is for the campus. He has been the most authentic administrator that anybody could ever ask for. He works tirelessly in support of township initiatives and is one of our truly great community leaders.”
