Baker College's Port Huron campus to bestow diplomas on more than 120 graduates June 11
The 2016 commencement ceremony will honor 124 graduates at Port Huron Northern High School.

Baker College’s Port Huron campus will honor 124 graduates at the 2016 commencement ceremony, 10 a.m., Saturday, June 11, at Port Huron Northern High School, 1799 Krafft Road, Port Huron.
"At Baker College, our focus is firmly fixed on providing the quality education necessary for our students to succeed in their chosen careers," said Dan Kenny, Baker College of Port Huron director of admissions. “As they graduate and move into those careers, we commend them on achieving this milestone.”
Addressing the graduating class will be Gary Kelly, of Fort Gratiot, who will earn a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is an example of how hard work and perseverance result in achieving one’s goals.

Kelly has worked for the Michigan Department of Corrections for 21 years. A First Sergeant in the Army Reserves with the 414th Civil Affairs Battalion, Kelly has been deployed three times: twice to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. Very much a family man, Kelly is husband to Michelle, his wife of three years, as well as a father of three, stepfather of three and grandfather of six.
Also, among the graduates will be one Baker College employee. Heidi Priess, of Fort Gratiot, an administrative assistant at the Port Huron campus, will earn a bachelor’s degree in human resource management.

In addition, one outstanding graduate will also be recognized from each of the following programs:
· Health sciences.
· Business administration.
· Computer information systems.
· Human services/criminal justice/education.
