Boyfriend 'Person of Interest' in Slaying of Macomb County Woman

The body of a 38-year-old woman was discovered in her vehicle in Lenox Township.

LENOX TOWNSHIP, MI — Authorities in Macomb County say Jeremiah James Boshell, 36, is a person of interest in the death of his girlfriend, whose body was discovered in a vehicle in Lenox Township Tuesday morning.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said authorities were called to the 60000 block of Frost Road about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a report from the homeowner of a dead woman in the 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser, which was parked on the property. The homeowner was brought to the sheriff's office and is cooperating with authorities, according to a news release.

The victim was identified as a 38-year-old Macomb Township woman.

Boshell was last seen driving a gray Ford pickup at the Menards in Davison, Michigan.

He may be armed, according to Wickersham who advised against approaching him.. Anyone encountering him or knowing of his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
