The Aurora Borealis, better known as the Northern Lights, is a beautiful natural display of colorful light. Join Melissa F. Kaelin, Founder of the Michigan Aurora Chasers, to learn how to spot the Northern Lights from your own backyard. Melissa will share tips, tools, and techniqies to guide you to the Aurora as well as an outlook of what you can expect to see in the future. Registration is preferred, but not required.

Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido invites you to participate in a Child Support Telephone Town Hall: What Both Parents Need to Know. Prosecutor Lucido and Kymberly Shinneman, Chief of the Family Division, will provide helpful information on how to start a child support case, collect unpaid support, and get back on track with your obligations. By registering, you will receive a phone call for the Town Hall. Simply answer your phone. Calls will start going out approximately one-half hour before the event. Participants are welcome to ask questions during the call or simply listen. This Telephone Town Hall offers a convenient and accessible way for residents to engage directly with their Prosecutor’s Office, no in-person attendance required. The Town Hall will last approximately 60-90 minutes.

Come test your knowledge at HTPL’s Trivia Night, hosted at Total Sports! Tickets include trivia plus unlimited pizza, salad, and soft drinks. Max team size of 8. Arrive with a team or we’ll team you up! Due to increased demand and required venue capacity, tickets must be purchased in advance at the library for $9, cash or check only. Once the maximum of 80 participants has been reached, there will not be any additional tickets available and we will not be able to accommodate walk-ins the day of the event.
