Car Hauler Driver Killed While Unloading Vehicle At Metro Detroit Dealership: Police
Investigators do not suspect foul play.
EASTPOINTE, MI — A car hauler driver was killed while unloading a car at a metro Detroit dealership Wednesday, according to police.
The incident happened around 6 p.m. at Gravity Autos, which is located on Gratiot Avenue near 10 Mile Road in Eastpointe, according to police.
Investigators believe the man was unloading a vehicle from a car hauler when he got pinned between the vehicle and the trailer's wall.

Investigations said the 55-year-old Missouri man died at the scene. They believe he had been trapped for at least 30 minutes and don't suspect any foul play.
The man's name was not released, but police said he owned the delivery truck and was its driver.

"The Eastpointe Police Department extends its condolences to the friends and family of the deceased," police said.
