Chippewa Valley Alum Organizes Band Reunion
Group performed at October concert in Macomb; now making a video.
(Posted Nov. 16, 2016) CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — Chippewa Valley High School graduate Anjan Shah is reliving a happy time in his life as he takes his 50th trip around the sun. The Baltimore, Maryland, resident was thinking about his days with the high school band and reached out to about 20 of them on a conference call and asked if they'd be interested in a reunion of the band, Shah told The Fraser-Clinton Township Chronicle. They were game, got together over the summer to practice, and on Oct. 18, they gave a seven-minute performance at a Dakota High School collage concert.
